Internet Radio

Radio plays station streams you add. It is separate from local folders, remote libraries, and DLNA output. Current D:\ECHO source places Radio behind the Pro route; check your edition for availability.

  1. Open Radio and add a station.
  2. Enter a recognizable name and the actual HTTPS audio-stream URL supplied by the station.
  3. Probe the URL. A home page in a browser is not necessarily a direct playable stream.
  4. Optionally add description, artwork URL, or video URL. None is required for basic audio playback.
  5. Save and press Play. Verify the radio state, the bottom player, and actual sound.

You can search saved stations by name, genre, or URL, mark favorites, and show only favorites. Import PLS, M3U, M3U8, or text lists and inspect added/skipped counts. Export station names and URLs before moving computers. Editing or removing a local station does not affect the broadcaster. A list stores addresses, not audio, and a server may later change its URL. Avoid publicly sharing stream URLs containing personal tokens.

First play a local MP3 to prove output works. Then check network, offline mode, proxy, the direct URL, server authentication, and geographic restrictions. Probe again or try another stream you are entitled to use. Live streams generally cannot seek like files; current-song metadata appears only when the broadcaster provides it. See Audio Output for device problems.
